Any STAR TREK fans on the board?

Did you just design your very own teardrop or tiny trailer? Want to discuss it? Here's the place to post your design for discussion!

I love Firefly too. Sad, only one season and a movie.

Fox seems to have little patience when it comes to giving sci-fi programming a chance to succeed if the numbers are questionable.

Seems to be a trend on all networks, though, except for perhaps SciFi (obviously) and CW. And, even CW seems more geared toward fantasy and occult topics than scifi.

Yup, i agree. if Fox makes it then invariably they put it in a lousy time slot or against some high rated reality show. So when a great show doesn't show results they don't seem to see that it's good and doing poorly for some other reason. Then scifi picks it up. The show has such a following for just having a few episodes, but He's on Castle now which is also a hit show. So no chance of a continuation. too bad.

If I had the time/money to do it I would so build one. Think it would be a gas to camp in the old school
series shuttle. (Obviously, I am a fan of the original series since the 60's) Kirk was the Mac-daddy.
Picard is a wuss. :)

Matter of fact, I even had this other page bookmarked to study how this guy is building his....it's built around a truck chassis.

I thought this little detail on his fuel port was purty funny. 8)

This is his build page.

This guy is rebuilding it now. This go around will be metal, but you could study it for ideas.

I like Grant Whip's idea on the tractor beam tongue. 8)

Now, now. Picard wasn't a wuss. He was cerebral.

Ok, in Generations he was a wuss.

He butched up nicely for First Contact, though.

How about this for numbers $70,000 you could've bought it at auction.

I don’t think any campers trailer have been made yet. There are a few Van conversion that have been
made. Most show up at Burning man for a year or two and them go by by.

PS check three post up above by Woodstramp he posted a link to a guy building a Van one.

Mostly what I remember about Captn Kirk is that he got all the Green chicks, and we have the same name.

Kirk out.

Here's one that's smaller than a teardrop, a motorcycle trailer...

U-Haul allows exactly that trailer to be rented for towing with vehicles as small as HHR's and PTCruisers -- it's called the Large Sport.
