now for something completely different

Have y'all seen Roly Nelson's Half Woody teardrop pictures?

I love his fenders. They're all wood.

But....for some reason....I still like the idea of the fins from the late 40s and 50s cars. I like the idea even better when I consider that I could use the 'inside' of those fenders for extra space.

I have given up all hope of posting images here as nothing I try including attaching scanned pencil drawings works.

So I'm going to put in a couple of links to pix and ask y'all if you think fenders of this type could look cool on a tear ...

ed note: I just put the [img]tag%20on%20the%20front%20and%20the[/img] tag on the back of your links, and they worked perfectly! :o

that was me, Laredo, putting up a link to the 1/2 Nelson woody, which I think is gorgeous.

don't know what's going on, can't get my computer to log in

hopefully my fenders as a line drawing are below, if not maybe you can read the link

here is a photograph of what made me think those fenders might be useful to add a little width :

That's because the link ends in html.... to use the img tag the picture should end in .jpg

You try to find the url for the picture...

Sometimes you can find it by saying "view source" in your browser. Sometimes you can find it by right clicking the photo and saying "save photo as", and adding that name to the url.

And sometimes there's no finding it, no matter how hard you try. Then you just post the html link for us to click.

This stuff is not science, but it is an art, and practice makes you better! Just ask Shrug!!!

Hey Laredo. Email me with some specs you would like to see with a trailer (size, amenities, etc) and I will see if I can design something with some fins and a 50s look for you.

I believe the correct name of the Tear is the 1/2 Nelson Woody. Somewhat of a play on his name, Roly Melson.
