Teardrop for 4

I have an old pop up trailer that I have stripped and plan to use it for this non-traditional teardrop build. I am still designing the actual build. The trailer axle is to close to the middle (when pulling the tear drop I had a lot of bounce on the tongue) so I plan to shorten the trailer by cutting the back off instead of moving the axle. I plan to leave the trailer framing wide (apron 7’) so we can lay the beds side to side. I plan to have a queen size bed in the back in front of the rear galley and have bunks in the front. I have attached a drawing for reference. Any one have experience building a bigger teardrop? Have any suggestions or concern with my planning so far? I am also planing to “stick frame” so I can use foam board insulation. Still trying to decide how to skin it.

Everything you've described seems reasonable to me. You might also take a look at the 2+2 design (http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=49150) for inspiration. It's got the same goal of sleeping 4 and has some really well thought out details that are worth a look.
