I threw together a site showing the model I use in my avatar, as well as the beginnings of the model I am using to design my 6 to 8 person Tear.
So far only the frame is together, but I am working on it nightly.

I am using a 1" = 1 ft scale, and the entire frame is made out of popsicle sticks (my kids had a box of 1000 of them so why not use em.

anyway, so far only the frame springs (also made of the popsicle sticke) and wheels are on it, while I work on drawing the curves (real bugger to get right).

Cute photos of your frame. Because it's painted black I am having a hard time making out the detail...

I can make out the angle iron running across the frame. But I can't tell if it sits on top, underneath, or flush with the square tubing members that run from front to back.

Can you tell me?

Mike...

P.S. Storm Front? Interesting name.... what kind of storm are we talking about? :?:

The angle runs under the frame.
As for the name, Well, my online moniker has been TheStorm since way back in the BBS days, and my eBay store is The Stormfront.....name I have used for about every web site I have had.
