Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

As part of a meet of some members of the Mitsubishi Delica Owners Club UK (MDOCUK) Dave & Rosie and me and Joan may have at the same time had the first UK Teardrop/Tiny Trailer gathering in the UK, unless you guys know better.

Of course we picked a weekend of vile windy, wet weather but at least we now know the Escapod is definately waterproof

Anyway here's a couple of piccies of the weekend:

Not the best weekend for outdoor socialising but as always the Delica team toughed it out and made the best of it!

Maybe next year we can get a few more together. We may already have infected one or two more Delica owners.

People have talked about making an amphibious teardrop, but it seems you've beaten everyone to it - is it just me, or is that two blades of a propeller hanging underneath?

On one of our trips , some frinds decorated the tear with some bits they felt were apropriate.
the prop.....


a boat fender.....


and finally a mast, complete with frisby satalite dish , wind turbine and flag.

We laughed our nuts off when returned and found it decorated. I liked the idea of the prop, so when we got home I fitted a bearing and a shaft
It turns as we drive, or when its windy
