:applause:  Gee Del, I am thinking you really need to get South earlier. Seems like you bring the cold down with you. :R

Enjoy the South! Bring back some sun

Next year I plan to leave a month earlier (if I go) and go to the gathering in Lousiana. I do only want to stay gone from home so long, vacation is not home.

Del Sighting in Alabama

Postby depatty » Tue Mar 10, 2009 3:27 pm

For those following Del's second Annual Southern Migration, he's been sighted heading back to the north west! He stopped in here at Weaver yesterday afternoon for a camp over and rest up and just pulled out heading towards Memphis on his way to Kansas. The Jelly Belly is doing fine. He says that he's got nearly 13,000 miles on those little 8 inch tires! I looked at them and it looks like they've still got plenty of tread to finish the trip back. Would have never believed they would have survived as many miles as he has put on them!

Here’s some pictures of Del’s Jelly Belly in the field at Weaver. Enjoy!

Drivers side with new sail on top (actually a canopy for his new build that he's carrying back home).

Passenger side.

From the back.

Another critter in the door window!

Propane tank mount and strain relief coil on line.

Half of the elusive Del!

Inside insulation.

More insulation.

Even more insulation.

Yet more insulation.

And even insulation around the hinge.

Insulation in the door and a bit of tension to keep things in shape...

Hey folks soon to leave Kansas. Taking I-80 into Nevada, switching to 95 (I think) to Twin Falls, then 84-82into Yakima. Hoping for no sn*w.

Boy, from the west coast to the east. Here's one from Carnation, WA last 4th of July:

That car in the background is a 1936 Packard with an iffy electrical system.

I visited one famous Floridian.

I have no idea who these people are, was to impatient to wait in line, and walked up and took a pic of whomever was there.

Found a new TV, of coarse I will wake up soon.
