We're not seeing much discussion here about the ITG, but FYI, as of the evening of 1/15/05, we have 92 registrants.

The Lockenest Tour out of So-Cal looks to have 16 or so trailers ... the Two-Lane Tour out of Carson City, NV has 20+ so far ... I know of two-or-three coming up out of Florida that should be able to pick up a few more along the way ... same for several coming out of the northeast and quite a few out of the northwest ... a BUNCH from all over the midwest and central-states area ... at least one coming from Mexico (hey, Kai! ;-} ;-} ...) ... and a handful from various parts of Canada.

Don't be shy! There's room for LOTS more! Check out the ITG website - http://itg.teardrops.net - contact the Regional Rep near you, and make plans to join us if you can - we're ALL certainly looking forward to meeting as many teardrop enthusiasts as can possibly make it to Minden!

In the meantime ...

CHEERS!

Say Grant, when does the 'Two-Lane Tour out of Carson City' expect to be pulling into Minden? Wouldn't that be a sight, about 40 teardrops going thru town at the same time. We'll be putting on our own parade. :applause:

Have a good day,
Gage

"...when does the 'Two-Lane Tour out of Carson City' expect to be pulling into Minden?"

Hey Gage!

We won't be getting there 'til Thursday about noon ... unless folks really want to push that last 150-200-odd miles Wednsday evening after spending most of the day in Rocky Mtn. Nat'l. Park! It'll be up to them ...

CHEERS!

ITG shirts - what do they look like??

Postby Dave Nathanson » Thu Jan 27, 2005 3:37 am

Does anyone have any idea of what the ITG T-Shirts are going to look like?

I'm about to send in my pre-reg, but dang if I want to buy a shirt if I don't have any idea of what it's going to be like. The reg form says "ash-colored, short sleeve Henley-style T-shirts." I'm no shirt expert, but from what I can gather Henley style means 2-3 buttons and a collarless, or lapel-less shirt neck.

Questions: Back design only, or front too? Pocket? Silkscreened or embroridered? "Plastic ink" or will the shirt still breathe? Pre shrunk? 100% cotton or cotton poly blend? French cut sleeves for the women?

Design: Is there a photo or some art of any kind that can be posted? It's gotta help shirt sales, as I suppose most people will be more likely to buy if they know what the thing looks like! How about it?

Gage, Grant or George T. will be able to fill you in on the shirt info.
If I'm not mistaken, George T. may have even designed it himself.

Hi George!
Hey, that helps a lot. Thanks for the answers!
Now I'm down to just one question left....

What's the design that will be silkscreened on the shirt? Can I see it?

Shhhh!

It's a secret!

Actually, it's still in the works.

If you look real hard THROUGH your computer screen, you might be able to see it laying on my work table....

;)

Ok, so I'm peering...
What did the previous 1st ever ITG T-Shirts look like?

Oh! Louise says a nice design would be a globe with TearDrop Trailers all around the circumference of it.

NC to CA and back, about a week and a half (or so). Dan, you might send Grant an email and see if he has gotten it yet.

 Mystery Solved!!

We got the registration today.

Now we have to plot the route from here to there. And we always take the red roads instead of the blue roads.

Look forward to meeting all of the guys & gals that are going too.

Dan, be sure to stop by and say hi. You'll be able to tell my tear. It'll be the one that the stereo system will be blaring, the tear will be vibrating and the gererator will be running to keep the battery up.

Have a good day,
