I did get the carpet installed.. it made a huge difference appearance wise. We had a great ride, and then I got a little mowing done.

Today once again I have more I want to do more than I possibly could.

I hope to work on my mower.. just cleaning and greasing. I am looking at re-siding my shop in cedar shingles. I will pick up house wrap.. maybe more to get started on that. Luan.. to start the wall panels for the van… and some trail work.

Whew! Feels good to be in some AC now. Hot, Hot, Hot out there today (when you are not used to it). Upper 80s and really humid.

So, today was a pretty draining day at work with the weather. Have to go grocery shopping when the wife gets off work - fun, fun, fun. It just never stops some days!

fading fast.. I don't think I slept well last night.. I fell asleep ok.. but woke not long after.. and just never slept all that great after that. zzzzzzzzzz

I did do some errands this morning. I got some different screws for the carpet trim.. then went to the lumber yard. Otherwise I have been in the woods. I had planned on working until lunch.. then moving on to other stuff.

I have just taken a little break.. I guess I can work on that mower next.

We had extremely heavy rain last evening. My wife had to pull off the road for over a half hour because of the rain. So, we had bad rain Saturday night and it did a lot of damage to the bunkers at the golf course and now again last night. So,today started out at 66 degrees but foggy. The fog did not even thin much until about 9:30 and then it went away pretty quick and the sun came out which made it very muggy! Not much fun at work today - I did not sleep well last night either.

We had some decent rain Monday night into Tuesday. [We needed the rain] I thought it was supposed to be so-so throughout the day, but it cleared off beautifully yesterday afternoon. [for our ride] Before clouding in again.

Laurie is taking the afternoon off.. so we can do more trail work. I am not sure if I will do trail work this morning.. or work on my shop.

We are pathetically hanging on.. waiting for the others to come back.

We got a bit of trail work done Wednesday. First me alone.. then Laurie after lunch. Then we headed to the group mountain bike ride.

Then more today. I did more maintenance in the morning.. and then Laurie and I went and worked on the new trail we started on Wednesday.

We have a graduation party tomorrow afternoon. Perhaps a ride in the morning.

Work and not much play seems to be the theme for me lately. Half day (hopefully less) today and then I have to mow my lawn and do some weeding out back. Have to have the place looking good to put it on the market next month.

We had places that had snow last night. We had no precipitation last night here.. but otherwise we might have.

I was going to take it easy today… We had a retirement party to go to. Our new trail needed a bridge.. and it was a small fairly simple bridge… so I though maybe we could make that. Well we made and installed that.. and then ended up doing a bit of other work.

It is Memorial Day - remembering all those that have fallen.

Had to work this morning and then have been putting in flowers, etc. in the beds in front of the house. Really tired though due to not much sleep last night.
