I don't even know when the game ended and I also forgot all about being in here at that time, sorry. Was working on the '56 all day. Just trying to make sure I will be able to pull 1500 lbs back to Minden and not take me two weeks to do it :ok:

Have a good day,

I was logged in the whole night. How come I don't show up. I left the computer on just for this and was online on the board. Does the forum time-out when no activity?

Not sure what football has to do with teardrop trailers either :)

If you were logged on with your username, maybe your server timed you out for lack of activity maybe?
Sorry.

Not sure about phpBB, but on vBulletin often times 'guests' may actually be search engine spiders.

Sorry not to have made it 43 - I logged on at 630pm ET (1130pm here) to find that that was the start of the game. I now see I would have had to stay up to 330am today to have been there with you guys*.

* PS Four hours for a game? Is it a mix of play and adverts in equal parts? Dang, that makes cricket look speedy!

Hey Woody and all,

The forum times out after 3600 seconds. After that you no longer show up as being logged on. Sounds like that's what happened to you.

What do you guys think? Is 3600 seconds okay, or should I double that? or more?

3600 seconds is an hour. That's plenty of time. If someone's been inactive for that long, chances are they're not even at thier computer.

BTW -- I would have loved to join you folks after the game. But, I had to be to work at 4 a.m. this morning. A guy's gotta sleep sometime.

I'd say 15 minutes tops... otherwise the 'number of users logged on' won't be very useful, and in fact many showing as logged on could well have turned their puters off and headed out to the garage to debug some tearful problem...

Now if you make it 86,400 seconds, they you would effectively turn the meaning into something like 'the number of users logged on in the past 24 hours'.

Hey I tried to help out, but didn't think about the "time out" issue. Oh well, next time I guess

I think Mike has been messing with the numbers....look at the count now. He didn't work for Enron or Worldcom, did he?

I think we should shoot for 50 next time eh? Mass email doesn't work, and I don't know why. But we have extracted the email list, and Dean is investigating if we can do an email with that.

But Dean, don't pick the weekend when we are all outside with spring fever, okay?

I know we can break 50!!! But tell me, what's the best time of the day to do that?

If I could have yesterday back, I would've went with right before the kick-off instead of waiting until the end of the game.
I used the Super Bowl, because of the huge audience.
We are pretty spread out in different timezones and different countries too.
Anyone have a suggestion?
Maybe we should wait a while before we try this again.
(I don't feel like being Mr. Billboard again, at least not right now) :?
