Saw my first TearDrop Today.

Postby nater104 » Wed Oct 06, 2004 9:28 pm

So I've only been looking at tears for a month or so now. I don't think I had ever actually seen one in person.. until today. I was driving through Mass. and saw a "Little Guy" Deluxe at a dealership. So I got off the highway and went and looked at it. I had the guy open it up for me so I could see inside. Pretty nice. I'm hoping to get to stop by the Voorhees get together this weekend to see some more personalized TD :)

It was an end of the season sale for 3500. Regularly 3950 or soemthing like that.
Personally, I don't think I'd like the litte bit of storage space in a Little Guy, but its really nice and its cool that it is so little.

Nathan,
I agree..those trailers look really neat. Would love to see one in person myself.

Nathan,

I was surprised when you responded in only 13 minutes after waiting 3 and a half years...

Apparently I was still signed up to get emails when someone responded to this thread :)
I'll be a tear-dropper eventually. I'm only 27 so hopefully I'll still have time someday. I'm not on here that often, but still love Tear-Drops.

Now that's funny I read the thread without looking at the date.
had to go back and check the dates.
So what did you wind up with after 3 1/2 years?

Well since that post I moved out of an apartment and into a house with a garage where I could build a Tear drop... but then 5 months later we had our first son and 20 months after that our second son... so I'm not building a tear drop yet...
Still want to in the future. Maybe when they can help and are old enough to sleep out in a tent :)
I did see a neat plan for a tear drop dog house so maybe we can do that in the meantime.

First time I saw a teardrop, my roommate, her boyfriend and I were driving home for the weekend from school. (mind you, those two and I are polar opposites). We were on the free way, and it passed us the other way and I started yelling "Oh my god, turn around, turn around!! Did you see that?!? Look look look!!" They didn't see it, nor did they understand it.

But yeah, good luck on you teardrop.

This is a funny thread... 3 1/2 years later...

Wow. Time flies. And my campers aren’t getting any smaller. 4 kids now in a Jayco 19H Hybid. Still have my 1973 Apache Hard Sided Popup and my 1966 Scotty. Which I guess I didn’t have when this post was last commented on?

Time flies and the kids keep getting younger too.
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".
