Gas in your area.....

Postby Dixie Flyer » Tue Apr 03, 2007 5:50 am

Here in West Georgia, (Douglasville, Hiram, Villa Rica, Carrollton, Dallas, Temple) gas the past couple of mornings has been $2.45 a gal.

And we all know that it's going up, that's for damn sure. :x

What is everyone paying for gas in the rest of the country?

$2.55 a gallon and no excuse for it. Just the oil company's and speculators running up record profits for spring break. Gotta keep em home. :(

Wow and I thought I was bad with 2.69. I could of swore I seen 1.99 a couple of months ago...bad thing is when that happened I didn't need gas and by the time I did I missed it.

I don't even want to know what our trip to Montana is going to cost in May.

Got an E-mail last week from Rick Woodbury ,president of commuter car Inc. I was worried that the Tango was dead. I was pleasently relieved that the little electric car is alive and well. I have already told old what's her name that the next car will be a Tango. 0-60 in 4 seconds. 12 second quarter mile e.t. currently 80 miles on a charge but improvements in combination with lithium ion batteries the company feels 300 mile range is possible.
Gasoline has our household in a strangle hold with both of us driving 40 and 55 miles a day to work. $600.00 to $700.00 a month, it's like making 2 house payments. Take a look at www.commutercars.com it's a neat little car.

8) Prize for high price once again goes to.....
Northern California! $3.52 per gallon to fill my tank up yesterday.
Independent driving is wonderful--if you're willing to pay the price.
