Mortgage your teardrop for a trip to the superbowl!!!

This is definitely off topic...

"Eagles fans borrowing against their homes for Super Bowl trips," began a headline from the Associated Press.

It has been 24 years since Philadelphia had a team in the Super Bowl. Can you blame fans for not wanting to miss it?

"I don't care if we have to mortgage our house, I'm going," said one Eagles fan named O'Donoghue. "Sometimes the cards are maxed out and you gotta do what you gotta do," he explained.

What O'Donoghue had to do was to take out a home equity line of credit, that is, to mortgage his house.

"If I had any equity left in my house, I probably would, too," said another football aficionada, who paid $8,686 Super Bowl package out of savings.

Does anyone want to mortgage their teardrop for a trip to the superbowl? :drofl:

What's a Superbowl? An extra-large bowl of nachos?

I see it in the news here alot. Some of the lenders are not giving the loan to the people because of the risk. Then there are the one that are. I wonder that in a few months will they follow up on the storys with the ones that lose their home, spouses, credit, etc.? In this game we know who the winners are  and who the losers are. :(

I got mine from the Dollar Store. I had originally planned to cut a hole for the "sink" but decided that I could just put the bowl under the faucett when I needed a "sink" and when I wasn't using the sink, I'd have that much more counter space.

Hmmmm... by doing it that way, does the bowl become a "rise" rather than a "sink?"
