Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Intro of another trailer junkie.

Postby Lizbeth » Sun Feb 27, 2005 1:45 pm

Hi everyone!
I'm a middle aged (ACK!) lady with a wonderful husband and 18 yo son.
I/we are confessed trailer junkies. As of yesterday when we aquired one more we own four. Three of which fit in the tiny trailer catagory.

We have a 1972 14ft Cardinal Lowliner, a 1979 13ft Boler and the just aquired 10ft 1948 Explorer. We also have a 22ft Sandpiper that is not tiny!

The three little trailers are in different stages of redo. The Cardinal is stored at a friend's house being used as a bedroom by their son, our godson, so that project is on hold. The Boler is an insurance salvage total. I'm in the slow process of bringing it back to life. The Explorer is the tinest canned ham I have ever seen, 10" long, 71" tall and 75" wide. It was given to us by some great people from the fiberglassrv board with the hopes we could bring it back to life. My son intends to rebuild/put it back together to use on desert 4wheeling/target shooting trips.

It's great to find other like minded people!

I think Bolers are really neat. If I could find one at a decent price, I'd grab it..

Welcome aboard......

Thanks for the welcome guys!

There are picture of the Cardinal at the Vintage Vacations, antique travel trailer talk group. I think you have to be signed up to the MSN boards to ba able to see them. It's worth signing up just to look at the dozens of pages with hundreds of trailer pictures.
Here is Lurene;

Oh yeah! Lurene is also here;

The Boler is a fiberglass egg. I don't have any pictures of it on the net. It's like this one but not as nice yet.

The Explorer the pictures are in the camera. :)
