We are away this weekend.
We did a great hike Saturday.. and then a 35 mile bike ride on the Carriage Trails of Acadia National Park, Sunday

Because of the gout it hurt to do it.. but it does seemed to have helped it.

There is a mountain bike ride tonight...but I think I want to take the night off.. I am tired from this weekend.. and we just got done cutting more firewood.

Well, I'm back to work full time...the doctors finally cleared me
I still don't have my licence back so have to walk to get picked up by a friend of mine...30 mins each way, so I am counting that as my daily workout
Besides, I have put the bikes away for the year...to cold here :?

Well the season is slowing down and it's getting rainy and cold. Still trying to do power walking but it's tough some nights

Got my licence back finally...doctors cleared me to drive so I don't have to walk everywhere...now I will put on all that weight I lost over the last six months :?

about an hour and a half mountain bike ride tonight..

this group ride our numbers are thinning.. [there were 4 of us] it is dark.. getting colder.. wet and all the leaves hide much.

Yet one of our ridders is new to mountain biking.. a 51 year old woman [actually all of us were in our 50's]

anyways she is a real trooper...

I have been doing something for a workout most every day.. it varies a bit.

Yesterday our mountain bike ride got rained out.. so a weight training session.. Today just 15 min. on the rower.

I don't know whether to keep posting here or not. It seems I am the only one left. I have not paid attention to know if people are Lurking and reading.

The woman I ride with took up Mountain biking at 52 and is doing very well.

It's too cold for me to ride right now, so am spending a lot of time walking the dog. She is a hunting breed (though we don't hunt) and can go for miles which is good for me.
