I bought one of these of fleebay The price at the link below is high but the link gives a good idea of what I have used in my camper.

Now its not cheap but I like the Eden Pure heaters, i have 2 of the in our finished basment. The best thing about the is the fact that they use a bulb to generate the heat. You can leave the on with your not there or sleeping. Unlike other electric heaters there is a very little risk of it starting a fire.

I've never heard of the EdenPure heaters before. From what I read on their website they make some interesting claims which I do not exactly understand but then I am no scientist. It sounds like something I would like to try in the house (they do state they are not intended for dusty environments so that purty much rules out the woodworking shop). Thanks for pointing them out it has provided some interesting reading this morning.

My memory is that all electric heaters of the same wattage produce pretty close to the same amount of heat.

That flies in the face of a lot of commercials that promote the idea that their gizmo will heat for a fraction of another.

Which is it?
