Minor galley lid spring-back solved!

Postby Roly Nelson » Sun Sep 18, 2005 2:12 am

After installing the hinge on the galley lid, it no longer matched the curve of the teardrop sides. My solution was to scribe a parallel line along the curve, sanded it down to suit and bingo, now it fits perfectly, with enough room for weatherstripping. just thought I would pass this little tip along.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Okay, I felt bad that no one responded to your post since Sunday, so I felt compelled to be the first one.
