Pocket reference

Hi Friends, One of my greatest tool is the pocket reference book by Thomas Glover ISBN 1-885071=00=0. The amount and diversity of knowledge is mind boggling. I got my copy as a gift but have purchased other copies for friends at the local lumber yard. As I remember it was under $10. It is small and the cover is black so it is easy to overlook. I use mine mainly to find out what different shapes of steel weights. Almost everyone could use one.
Enjoy, Chris

Or, if this is the same one, you can get it for your Kindle/Ipad.

I've got several of them scattered between the house, barn, truck and shop but can never find one when I need it, kinda like a tape measure I buy them on cards of 6 and am always looking for one. I find that little thing called a smart phone the best tool in the world for information now days, and if I can't find it on my phone, my kid's/grand kid's can..... quicker than I can say it.

A good example was last year helping my boy build his 72 Chevy pickup, the pulley system required a different water pump suction orientation than stock, so the stock hose would not fit, sure enough someone had been through the same thing and gave GM part number and all for the correct hose shape from a 90 something GM truck. Almost fell on
I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction, the world will have a generation of idiot's.
