Hello, I'm new to this site. I found it while researching for a camper build I'm planning on starting in late spring. Anyway, since this seems to be a DIY crowd I thought I would share a recent project I just finished. I made a small wood stove out of 2 propane tanks, some old wrenches, a hammer head, and 2 lawnmower bagger frames for the stand. I have an insulated 8' x 24' workshop in my garage. I have been heating it with electric heaters. I make wooden longbows and have a lot of scraps left over. I thought it would be nice to heat my work shop with the scrap wood. I didn't want to cut a hole in my garage wall so I got a stainless steel plate and ran the 3" exhaust pipe chimney out the window. I am taking the stove down during the warm months. My fire wood pieces are around 2" x 2" x 6" long. A small fire keeps my work shop at 70 degrees.
