I can say it, but I haven't seen a 17" laptop screen yet!

By the way, Greg. How about posting a personal picture avatar so we know who we are communicating with? It's easy to do. Grab any digital camera and take a picture. Avatars can be no more than 200 pixels highx150 wide………….. and then follow directions on the avatar control panel in your profile for uploading. Once again, glad to have you on the forum!

Cool! Nice to have a conection.
With a family discount that unit might get pretty affordably.
I got mine with a corporate deal and all hot rodded up it was $700.

I think a laptop is the best solution .When you happen to pull into a campground with wifi, a DVD player plays a movie. A laptop plays a movie, then lets you post a review on T&TTT

How do you hook up the cable to a lap top when a camp ground has it available. Is there a card you can put in it?

...you can get a tuner card to hook cable into just as you can get a wifi card for internet connection............. 8)

Hi Ed,
You can add a TV tuner card to a laptop, but I haven't pursued that (its kinda what I go camping to get away from), although on our trip back from IRG, we had a campsite that had cable.
Dell has the cards for between about $75 to $200, depending on if you want to watch one channel and record another....other sources would probably be cheaper.

I have a 15.1in widescreen laptop. Sometimes I wish I had gotten a smaller one. It can get a little heavy, and forget about using it on the plane. I got a cheapy Gateway but of course I modded it with 2Gb of memory and a faster larger HD. Why? because we all know that stock sucks.
