Thanks Andy you can't really tell from the pictures but they give off just enough light to give a soft glow to the cabin area for watching T V or whatever else comes to mind.

 ;)

I bought a 12 foot sting of the clear ropelights and it was just enough to run around three sides of the interior.
I was able to use the hang up clips that came with the lights, I used little little screws too.
I love them, they add just enough interior light to "make it cozy".
The 12 volt swivel reading lights I have are almost to bright.
The rope lights realy add to the overall interior look.
Try them, you won't regret it.

I haven't looked real close to see if they were LED or not but, I bought a 50ft set of ropelights at Sam's Club for under $8. It is a 2pk of 25ft strings.

That's not a sauna. That's the interior of the "Finn Voyager".

Postby Guy » Fri Dec 22, 2006 9:44 pm

Dear Danny,

The website you linked to said 3 watts per foot and not 3 amps per foot.

Rope Light COST

Postby Guy » Sat Dec 23, 2006 9:49 pm

Dear All,

Wal-Mart had the 18'sections of rope lights on sale for $6.50. Does anyone know if they are the same as the ones being used by teardroppers.
Regards,

Guy
