Testing my 12 Volt lights

I am finishing up the interior of my Tear. I want to install my 12 volt lights ect. I do not want to go by a battery yet since it will just sit till next year. Can I hook the wires to a Auto style battery charger just to check out my wiring and switches?

Just run a couple of wires to your Jeep battery.

For lights, nothing high current, I just used my 12V drill battery.

A 14.4 drill battery will work too, for testing that is. :) Danny

That's how I did it. I tested every circuit before and after I closed in the wires.

Sounds good guys thanks...I have plenty of those batteries. Never thought of useing them that way.
