What Gauge Wire To Use For 12 Volt System

Postby sandman » Fri Mar 02, 2007 5:37 pm

Hey all,

I was hoping some of you electrical gurus can answer a question for me. I am about ready to begin wiring in all my lights and stuff in my teardrop. I have a Parallax Power Console which will provide juice to 4 different 12 volt lights, a small heater, and a few other 12 volt necessities.

What gauge wire should I use for all my 12 volt connections? Lights, heater, Car Radio, TV, Fan-tastic Vent Fan

What gauge wire should I use for the 2 110v plugs that I plan on installing?

Great posts...Thanks a bunch, Toypusher. I think that will answer most of my questions....at least until I try to wire up the Parallax Power Center. Thanks for the help, bro. :applause:

Parallax Power Center
You see, now that is the easy part, they are wired exactly like a flux capacitor.
