Porch light

Postby asianflava » Tue Feb 08, 2005 2:58 am

I'm planning on buying these lights. Does anyone have these fixtures? I was wondering what type of bulb it uses? I want to buy an LED replacement bulb for it.

That is the same light I have. I also have the same light on a "big" trailer. It has worked well for years.

I'm using the same one. They are used on all the Coleman tent trailers. I've replaced the original bulb with leds from SuperBrightLeds web site. The 24 light unit was not bright enough for me, bought the 36 light unit (1156-PCB-W36 White LED Lamp) . I attached the circuit board with several layers of double sticky foam tape. I may go back and use some silicon chalking instead. The led light cost 3 times the price of the light fixture. I'm also using the 36 led light in the dome light.

That's where I saw that porch light, on the Coleman popups. I was going to use the exact same LED setup. Thanks for the heads up on the 36LED unit. I wasn't shure which one to go with. I was worried that the 36LED unit wouldn't fit and was seriously considering the 24LED unit.

Thanks again!
