Inverters

Anything electric, AC or DC

So, you are saying that my inverter is drawing current when turned off, but still plugged in?...... as mentioned, there is an indicator led light.

I have the inverter hardwired into the 12v side, that means I need another off/on switch in the inverter feed to stop the draw....

Arnereil

No generally if they are SWITCHED off, they are drawing no current, but if they are sitting there switched on even, if you are not drawing any power for a mains appliance the invertor will still be drawing .7 Amp minimum.
