Using a volt meter you can test the continuity of each circuit. Tie the black and white wires together at the far end of the circuit . Then go up front and use a continuity tester to see which circuit in front has continuity. Label that circuit and start on the next. Easier than trying to trace the wires through the trailer.

Joanne

P.S. - Thanks for the heads up on wire tags falling off in the heat. I'll be starting on wiring soon and may have had the same problem.

You can also use an old bell or buzzer to trace the wires out. Just groumd the wire in question to the frame and then go to your fuse pannes (anothing hooked to the 12V yet) and hook your wire to the bell assembly.

Make a buzzer or light with a small battery, a little wire and the light or buzzer. The reason it is called "ringing them out" is because of the bell tecnique used in the old days. Still work well today.

Mark the wires or just go ahead and hook them up to the labeled fuse location. (make sure you remove the ground first).

good luck

...metoady, if you don't have a meter(you really should have) a cheapie can be had from Radio Shack, Wall_mart, Sears ect. in the 1o/15 dollar range...for most purposes they work as well as the real hi-dollar ones do
