Dear Charger Masters,
I will be using a 225 amp hour 12 volt batteries "Trojan Battery" . What is the appropriate battery charger and how do you calculate how long it will take to charge, given that I will not run my battery down below 50%.

A 10 % of ah rating is usually used as a ballpark so 20 Amp charger would probably be nearest, that would take 7 to 8 hours.
A 20% is usually ok according to most battery manufacturers specs,that would be 40 Amp charger, much faster charge.
