BlueSea 12v fuse block and WFCO8725 Question

Postby ywhic » Wed Nov 04, 2015 6:27 pm

I have a BlueSea 6 position fuse block already inside my trailer project and wired (about 2 feet) to the battery box with Group 24 marine battery on the tongue.

The BlueSea currently powers 2 DC cargo lights on 1 circuit (with 7.5 amp fuse), and my Sureflo (7.5 amp @ max. rated) water pump (with 10 amp fuse) on circuit #2.

Can I safely wire the WFCO 25 amp distribution panel 12VDC charger circuit side to the BlueSea fuse block main lugs with good 8-10AWG wire and be good to go??

My concern is not so much the 2 DC lights but when the Sureflo kicks on is it going to screw with the charge circuit??

The distance between the WFCO Dist Center and the BlueSea fuse panel would be like 3 feet max..

I don't want make more holes in my trailer floor for more wiring to the battery box ..

The WFCO incorporates a DC fuse block similar to the Blue Sea. You will have to use just one DC circuit out of the WFCO for your existing fuse block.
