MJ, do you use any flux? I usually put a little flux on the wires first, heat it to melt it in, then apply the solder. Or, does resin core solder negate the need for flux?

Dale, if you get resin core electrical solder there is no need for the flux...makes it cleaner and easier

Hay Ira take white electrical tape and put some tape at each end of the neutral wires. Then a real electrician will know the red wire is neutral. :roll:
