2.5 amps per hour.

How long would you run one in a teardrop? A half hour to warm up and another half hour in the morning? Maybe a fifteen-minute chug in the middle of the night for a step-out-the-door break?

That would sound about right. It only takes a 1/2 hr to warm ours up using propane.

Mine draws 20 amps for 30 seconds while it's starting up. After it heats up the cabin, which takes about 15-20 minutes or so, it throttles back to low (0.8 amp-hrs). It will shut itself off and on as needed all night long so it doesn't draw as much as you might think.
