LED strips evolving

When I built my first teardrop I used LED strip lighting in routed wood fixures.six dollars for all the lights plus switches used toggle. Worked well for years, but was a long winter to think. After I built her,

I discovered that there were different kinds of LED strips available. I built a bumper from 100 year old wood, and used 5050 , SMD LED for brake and turn indicators. Used one and a half current, but three times as brite.

This winter I found a new LED 2835 SMD for nine bucks, four times as brite, 1300 lumens per meter, uses twenty percent less power then the 5050!

Going to swap out the original interior and galley from the old 3528 low lumens to the new 2835 ones , twice the current draw for for times the lumens. On dimmers of course

I recently got rid of a set of LED taillights and switched back to bulbs.

Had one taillight circuit board fried during a trip (no light) had to "roll with it" since I needed to order the light.

Could've changed the bulb out quickly on the roadside.
Other than that I love LEDs.
