There is no world in which

amps per [any time period]

makes sense, since amps is already expressing a current **rate** incorporating a time denominator.

IOW Amps is an instantaneous measurement of energy flow, just like Watts is for power, neither can express a static quantity measurement.

So amps is "gallons per hour", Ah is gallons.

All this for the benefit of noobs, units being important

since I'm sure Tony already fully understands this.
