plug problem

Postby sftiggee » Wed May 03, 2006 7:55 pm

We're getting ready for the dam gathering this weekend and we have fixed our tear drops' electrical problem. But one problem still exists:

the left-turn plug at the trailers 7 way adaptor does not make a connection to the plug on our car. The voltmeter does output about 5V when we test the left turn at the car's prong(so we know it's not a car wiring issue), but at the trailer's adapter plug, no voltage. Thus no contact is made between the car's adapter and the trailers' adapter. Has anyone experienced this and knows a good solid way to manipulate the prongs of the car's plug? The reason we want to manipulate the car's adapter prong is because we replaced the adapter on the trailer due to corrosion.

Thank you!!
