12 volt stuff

I'm sure this has already been brought up, but a truckstop has a wonderland of 12 volt powered devices that are great for teardrops.

12V stuff

Postby TearDropXtreme » Tue Oct 24, 2006 10:47 pm

JawjaBoy,
Thanks for the tip. I do know some of the 12V stuff you gotta watch out for as it just doesn't work well. A friend of mine bought a 12V blender (hoping to make some campsite Margarita's!) but the damn thing could barely puree Gerbers baby food much less ice! And another friend bought a 12V coffeemaker and after just a few uses it stopped heating. But like anything you get what you pay for. I'm sure high end 12V stuff works fine.

Thanks for the info,T.D.X.- I seem to remember the ones I saw in the truckstop were pretty cheap,so probably a waste of money. Danny: where can I buy a good coffeepot like that? Walmart had some, but they were very poorly made, and were banged up just from sitting on their shelf! David
