Red Coleman foldable stove?

Postby oklahomajewel » Wed Nov 01, 2006 1:49 pm

I saw one at LCG but don't know who's ....

It was Coleman I believe, a two burner propane stove and folds for storage.

I wonder if anyone has one and can tell me if it's a good deal. I like the idea of smaller storage and having the handle.

This one Julie?

Coleman Stove

Never used this one, but it sure looks like it would do what you need. I do love my propane camp stove.

COLEMAN STOVE

Postby CPASPARKS » Wed Nov 01, 2006 2:26 pm

Julie,
That was my stove you saw. I would have given you a demo if I would have known that you were interested. That is the latest acquisition of camp stoves that I have.
I have a Green Old Timey Coleman two burner propane stove. A American Camper two burner propane stove that I bought from Northern Tool. A single burner propane stove that screws on a 1lb propane bottle.

I love all of them for different reasons. But the newest one you are asking about is by far the best. Folds up into a compact little unit that is great to store in my td galley.

I give it a 4 stars. I bought it Bass Pro Shop in Shreveport. I had been bidding on them on ebay...but never won one. This one was about $70.00.

I bought one. I liked it because, when folded flat, the burners are almost a foot apart (centers). I hate having two pans banging together when I cook.

The smoothe surfaces seem like they will be easier to clean, too, compared to the old "green box" stoves.
