Guess I just have to be different,. We have the Black n Decker model, very pleased with it.
Does anyone do the vacum packed jars? Can't decide if it would be worth buying the jars.

I store all my dry goods in jars. I've got three different sizes to fit just about anything. Also use the jars for veggies and stuff in the frig, keep things 2-4 times longer then bags or bowls.

I bought it! Foodsaver brand, $40 on clearence. Gotta be thrifty cause I'm savin up for a new car, and a teardrop. Toyota CRV or Jetta TDI... Yoder Toter, or custom.... decisions decisions. 3000 in my car fund, 1000 in my tear fund. :money: Foodsaver is in the mail, can't wait for it to come! :)

Forget the car and you have enough for that Hunter in the for sale section. :twisted:

I have a foodsaver that I could not live without. I rarely use it to vacuum seal items, however, I ALWAYS use it to reseal potato chip bags, frozen food bags, etc.yeah to purchase the jar will be helpful but not so much needful..
