It kinda is, but they really do have decent products. My wife hosted one party and one catalog party. From those 2 parties, we have tons of stuff that we either got free or at a reduced price.
The catalog party is probably the easiest. It's like a virtual show, all orders were taken over the internet and the ones who didn't have catalogs just looked at them online. We were actually on our way to LCG when it was closing up. We got a few freebies and a santoku for 50% off.
