tired of fighting sheets?

A while back someone posted a link to a company that sells custom sheets for campers and big rig drivers. I had them make some sheets for my trailer. The top sheet is sewn to the fitted bottom sheet. That bottom sheet has no elastic but instead it has a big fold over pocket at each end.

Anyway, it works great. The only problem I have is that I like to hang my feet out from under the top sheet until the middle of the night. It's a little tricky, but it can be done.

I can't recall the link to the manufacturer. It took them 3 months to fill my order because they kept losing my paperwork. But I like the sheets.

W have a 4X8 Camp-Inn. I use a twin size fitted sheet out of knit jersey on the mattress. It is stretchy enough to fit even though the bed is bigger than a twin. I am going to try Doug's idea on the top sheet though. Sound like a good one.

Our TD mattress measures exactly 4x6 feet. After a lot of going back and forth I ordered a L.L. Bean twin fitted flannel sheet. With 15 inch pockets I am hoping it works. I did not want excess fabric, but I certainly want it to stay on the mattress. Keep your fingers crossed. I will keep you posted.

I've been sewing my top sheet to my fitted sheet for camping with the air mattress for years. It kept the top sheet from ending up around my knees. I've done the same thing for the sheets I use in the T@B.

I bought the same sheets as Duane did. They work great. I also bought a set to use at home on a Hide-a-bed. Work great there as well. If some one is interested I could probobly find the link.

Velcro dots at the corners, or even (gasp) buttonholes and tie-strings.

I did the same as a waterbed sheet, sewed them together at the foot of the bed. It makes it very easy to make the bed.

I have king size sleeping bags zipped together with a king size water bed sheet inside. After the waterbed was retired I had lots of extra sheets, so they became camping sheets. The ends fit nicely over the bag and can tuck in down the edges to the mattress.
