Hey, Good Idea!! Do I leave the shell on or off??

I'll do both. Now, if it explodes and I loose an eye. I'm not going to be happy. I'll use my safety glasses just in case.

Jiffy Pop, remember it well, best cooked over a coffee can half-filled with sand, then add a cup of JP4, light with your engraved zippo and shake shake shake. Charlie knew when the mail got in, from the aroma of the jiffy pop we wus fixin'. Lord, jiffy pop and dried salami the best two things in any care package from home.
Bet ya can tell where I spent the middle 60's .

Oh No!!

I used to think you were a good kid!!

We got turned on to Whirly pop by Rick and Diane.

Tastes great, no old maids!

Phyll and I lived, literally, on pop corn..Early in our marriage!

Still love it!

Asian - I have a bag of circus peanuts in the truck. Maybe when the wife's asleep I'll conduct a little experiment in the name of science. ;)

I didn't know what he was talking about, either.

So, Flava, dude -- is there anything you will not eat? Those things look like chemical puffs. They have GOT to cause cancer.

Just asking. CD :D

They are like compressed marshallows. I think they are gross but for some reason, I get a craving for them once in a blue moon. I'll buy a bag, eat one or two then remember why I thought they were gross.

Naw, my dad has been eating them for over 50 years and he's still kicking. Actually, they were invented in the 1800's and were the inspiration for the charms in Lucky Charms. Oh, and another interesting tidbit of info...the gelatin used in circus peanuts is......pork skin!

For those who just have to incorporate Circus Peanuts into their meal planning, here's a recipe for - what else? Circus Peanut Jello!

Why mess around with Jiffypop when you can make popcorn for the whole campground?
