tent sites or rv sites?

Anything to do with camping, fundamentals, secrets, etc...

I almost always use a tent site. They are usually somewhat cheaper and the scenary is better. Also, I hate the noise of a generator or big RV air conditioners when I'm trying to sleep. If I'm just passing through and I don't need a shower I usually use a rest stop or Wally World.

Most State & National Parks have tent sites that are plenty big enough for my TTT & tow vehicle.

Tent site or tent pad..... I know the US Forest Service around here won't let you drive on the grass let alone park anything on the tent pad.....
Sam Houston National Forest / SE Texas...... stay off the grass....

The state parks here have rv and tent sites, but still can't park anything on the tent pad.........
