Chairs?

Hi All,

I'm tired of the cheap foldup canvas chairs in a bag...

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good camp chair that has good back support and the back angle is adjustable?

Or if there are some plans to build a couple...

Thanks,
-phil

I have the older version of this chair and love it. The new version has more padding. Both have adjustable backs.

LL Bean Wilderness lounger

Here's a photo of the previous version.

Phil we have the bungie lounger. That is a lounger that is supported by bungie cord stuff. 8) It works great as a chair for Mikes back. I am shorter and it wasn't as comfortable for me. Makes a chair and lounger.

...we have the same chairs as AuntieM shows and really like 'em...my wife(aka the poorgirl) is only 5'2 and likes hers as much as I like mine...in fact, we like them so much, we bought 2 extra and just stashed 'em...they adjust from straight up to nearly flat out.......

Yeah I got sick of those bag chairs too. Though they are fine to sit in, they can be difficult to get out because the arms are floppy.

I put these on my Secret Santa Christmas list but I didn't get them. Luckily, my wife put them on her list and got them.

Hi All,

I think the bungie lounger is pretty much what I had in mind (but I like the looks of the LL Bean chair).

Think I've seen the bungie chairs before but never tried em out.

I'll see if I can find any nearby for a test... Hope they allow naps in the show room...

I'm still interested in building something if anyone has a good idea...

Thanks,
-phil

Those bungie loungers look great! Anybody have a brand name or a link to a source?

Hows about one of these, they are neat because you can break them down and nestle the two pieces together. A friend of mine made one for his mountain man gear and they are pretty comfy.

Thanks Miriam! Walmart is close, and cheap. So few of the supplies I need for my teardrop are both.

REI also carries the "LL Bean chair."

It's usually referenced as "Wilderness Recliner."

How about for a little guy?

My little dude will be two this year and I keep looking for a folding chair that will work for him with no luck. Has anyone found anything that will fit a little guy?

I found this same chair at Sportsman's warehouse. Told old what's her name that was my late Christmas present or early birhday present.

Still waiting !

My grandfather used to make chairs just like this one REI is now selling.

Can you custom-make a mini-version? It's a simple design.
