Waymarking Free Campsites

Postby AmyH » Fri Jul 25, 2008 5:47 pm

For those of you who like to Geocache, you may already be familiar with Waymarking. Well, I was on there the other day and noticed that there is a category called "Free Campsites". I plan to add some free campgrounds that I will be going to, and I encourage others to as well. I am going to add some information to my entries indicating the general size of the spaces, particularly if they are good sizes for our T&TTTs.

This could become a great resource for folks looking to do a bit of free camping.

I do a fair amount of caching... and usually load up caches when I head out to camp. I've bookmarked this site and will take a closer look when time allows.
