I always bring a pair of GoreTex hiking boots (I love in WA afterall!) and a pair of slip on tenis shoes of some sort (I usually bring an old comfy pair when camping).
I also always have a pair of boots in the storage cabinet in the back of my Avalanche just incase. These are always there for an emergency or whatever may come up not just for camping.
