Anyone try shampoo bars for camping?

I have been using these for about a year. I won't go back to traditional shampoo. They would be great for camping as you can wash your face, body, hands, hair, shave all with the same bar and not worry about chemicals. They are 100% natural oils. No affiliation, just a fan. Love their dog shampoo bars (they have one that humans can use and it has bug repelling oils in it.) Their lotion bars are great and a good way to save space and avoid spills while traveling. Another option would be a bottle of Dr. Bronners soap and you could use it for personal cleaning, laundry or dish washing.

Hands down, the best rated company out there selling these bars.

Been using hand crafted natural soaps for a few years. Favorite bath soap is called "Dirty Hippie," has a light patchouli scent and some kind of oat hull scrubby things in it. Just what a dirty hippie needs to be a clean one.

I been CAMPING and dreaming of camping with turn~around times with my
trailer ready fur the next run out of my driveway....

Went to Why Arizona gathering & Organ Pipe National Monument then uP to
the 1st Glyphs gathering and then back to Joshua Tree National Park
recently. The Arizona crowd have a good time and I enjoy the company to
be sure.

Like tomorrow I am going to set out fur Route 66 to meet uP with Eddie
Miller to see the sights and sounds of the Fun Run this next weekend.
Plan on camping fur free at some old spots along the historic route with
Eddie and taking some pics of the old cars, while participating in the party
atmosphere along the route. Maybe stop back at Joshua Tree as the
flowers are in bloom in the desert now, before coming back to the barn.

How about you Steve? Your new wagon been on the road yet?

Hand crafted soaps are positively one of my favorite things.

I even got my husband hooked. He's off shaving cream completely; I bought him some handmade shaving soap with a mug and brush. He likes it much better.

I'm a "one soap for all purposes" kind of guy...hands, body, hair, shaving...all the same bar, been that way for years.

Of course, I quit using Zest when I started losing my hair...hasn't helped though.

What do you use to "mark your place"? Or would that be "mark your face..."

My camp soap and shampoo is like Mark's -- hotel stock. And I don't shave while I am camping. That's part of the fun of camping.

I did carry bio-safe soaps when I used to backpack, since I'd be washing in lakes and streams. But at campsites with sinks and showers, its hotel soaps for me.

Glad to see you've been a busy camper. The new trailer has been out a couple of times and going again this weekend, We did a State Park thing with a bunch of the Florida gang, a Music Festival and this coming weekend another State Park/Graduation party for my wife. After 4 years, she has finished her Phd. She even interviewed for a job in San Diego in March, but it wasn't a good enough deal to move across the country for at this time anyway. The Route 66 trip sounds like fun.
