I put eggs in a round rubbermaid container. Hold 6 eggs, just perfect size for me. No water in the rubbermaid yet.

If I'm making brownies, in the bowl I put the required eggs removed from the shell and the measured oil all in one container.
Same with pancakes.
Works like a charm.
Theres really no need to keep eggs cool or refreigrated. I have seen them go for weeks out in the open sitting on a shelf at cowcamp in the big horn moutains with no spoliage.
