Faster Sun Tea

I decided to make some sun tea at home today. I remembered my old reflector I made several years ago from the shiny side of insulating foam used in the campers. I call this my sun tea accellerator. I'm making 3 quarts of tea in my gallon sun tea jug. It's been sitting in the reflector for about an hour, part of the time in cloudy conditions. If the sun stays out, I should be brewed enough in another hour.

Update: I brought the jug inside after 3 hours in the reflector (and the sun wasn't out all of the time). The temperature of the tea was 106 degrees.

reminds me of the time I made some sun tea when I was stationed in the UK. (My better half drinks it, to me it tastes just like Mississippi river water near Lacrosse, WI)

it took me THREE DAYS!!
