Ok other than keeping the music down and fire extigurisher at the ready around Zach; what are some good gathering tips. I am going to the walk in the winds and just want to make sure i havent forgotten everything or the obvious.

Our experience is that teardroppers are very social and spend their time outside, (it is kind of enforced by the trailer). Our experience is also that they are very inclusive with new folks. I got some of my better ideas from others (plagiarism is the sincerest form of flattery) so go have fun and a see what others have done.

Shadow Catcher summed it up perfectly. If you can get a site right in the thick of it. be sure to take a few extra beverages and maybe a couple extra folding chairs. There were a couple times we hade visitors I couldn't offer a place to sit too.

Yes, please have a fire extinguisher ready for when I light myself on fire. Or a cold beer.

Just go and have fun Forrest! Chairs and beverages are always good to have. Also, cards or some other game like cornhole can be fun. Organizing a "trailer-crawl" can be a good social event. Just have everyone meet at a campsite at a certain time, and then as a group you go from trailer to trailer and whoever owns the trailer gives a little tour.

 I have always tossed a roll of toilet paper in a plastic bag and brought it along, just in case. If you don't need it for the one end, you might need to use it like Kleenex, if there are any unexpected hay-fever allergies. Also, lots of trash bags as you will want to toss your food discards often in bear country.

New idea: At IRG, this past weekend, they tossed some RV toilet chemicals into the outhouse john. It was the best smelling outhouse I've ever been in.

slow

Just a thought slow; though folks here are about as nice as you'll ever find anywhere, bangin' around making breakfast in a close together campground at 0300 is usually considered poor manners and isn't the best way to make friends and influence people. Someone wakes up my wife at that time of night making breakfast while she's on vacation and they're taking their life in their hands

of course I'm sure you're just funnin' us ;)
