At a price like that I see no reason not to have a few extra on hand, just in case.

Hey... it's only $2,525 over on Amazon... I wonder if it qualifies for free shipping :)

I have a few LED strips in my teardrop. Cheap set from eBay. They've been going strong since I finished my build in March.

LED's do not produce UV light. Bugs see UV light only. So, sorry no bugs of any quality.

It depends on the LED ... almost every TV remote uses a UV LED to send the signal across the room ...

Nope, they are usually IR, not UV. That's why they have red plastic windows in front of them.

Well, I guess that shoots down the theory of UV no bugs.

I used LED rope lighting on the inside of the Kitza Kamper and old style rope under the Kitza Kamper for a "porch light".

I like the effect of both. Who else is using rope lighting?

Most white LEDs are really UV LEDs shining on a phosphor that changes the light to visible light.

How about a 12V LED light show? I'm thinking this would be cool on the arch or underneath the tear like Rocky did:

Weatherproof RGB 12V LED Tape

12V LED Controller
