Posted: Tue Feb 28, 2006 7:45 pmHeh...slugs. Had an apartment that seemed to have an inordinate amount of sluggage in the front yard, real big ones. About 3 to 4 inches long. This in Massachusetts.
Had a couple of cats too. Would leave food out for them, Meow Mix.
We had multi-colored slugs that summer. We got used to them, but the cookout guests just didn't get the humor of our little pets.
Was sitting in a chair with a bottle of beer on the ground. Picked up the beer and almost got it to my lips........then saw the multi-colored in the neck of the bottle. So close. Yet so far................
