I like the looks of those Repose Fire Logs also. One nice thing about the propane portable pit is that you can place it wherever you like....out of the wind and you don't have to keep moving to get out of the way of the smoke! :) :thumbsup:

Thanks for your post. I think I like the fake log or lava rock type better for the rustic appeal at a campsite. But I do like glass beads and believe this would fit nicely in our lake front covered porch or boat dock. So I am saving your link for the time we are ready to go that route. And we like glass beads enough, that we are considering them to replace our in home fireplace fake gas logs.
