Read the reviews on that link. Most are negative. One states that this Sanyo model is better, and it does have better reviews.

I looked at the reviews of both, and also on one by Sharp. All seem to have the common problems of taking a long time to toast or microwave food, as they are low powered MWs, and the toaster elements are not close to the bread like in a regular toaster oven. Then, you have to manually change over from MW to toaster oven.

All in all, I think I'd prefer a separate microwave and toaster oven. You can buy both for less money than one of these combo units, and they work better at their individual purposes. For great toast, you can't beat the folding stove top toaster (2nd item down) at WM (about $3) or any camping supply. I used one on a camp stove for years.

We only have the Dream Dinners here (so far). I've done it twice with my oldest son (who works two jobs and has gone back to school). We'll buy one "package" and split the meals when we go to prepare these.

It's handy for him because of his limited time schedule and handy for me because Bill travels and is usually gone during the week so cooking for one is boring. Takes about 2 hours to make up the 12 meals.

I've found these are quite handy to take on camping trips.

So far, everything we've made has turned out to be quite delicious. Some unusual seasonings that I'd probably never try on my own.

I'd always assumed (yeah, I know) that both toaster and microwave ovens were too current intensive for use with anything but shore power. Which is why I had been investigating the Coleman propane-fired toaster oven: cabela's clicky. Admittedly, it ain't cheap, but it would work out in the boonies.

My dad still has a VERY old Coleman stove top oven. You just sit it on the propane stove to use it. He still uses it sometimes on his gas range. It's $28.83 at Walmart. I saw it online for $19.99, but then, you'd have to pay shipping costs.

Yup, I've got that one as well. A bit leaky, but it sure folds down to a small size.

I'm a teacher and I have a tiny toaster oven that I bought for my classroom and I am going to get another for our TTT. It is about 6x12 inches and basically big enough for two slices of bread. I got it at Walgreens for $9.95. Also, if you are worried about the heat in the galley, this one is small enough to take out and put on the ground.

Thanks stbuch and welcome !!! I'll look next time I'm at walmart, but for $9.95 I need to buy door hinges first before I even think about all the accessorizing on my Jewel Box !!

If all it will be used for is to toast two slices of bread, and you have a propane or gas stove, I still say that for great toast, you can't beat the folding stove top toaster. It will toast 4 slices at one time, although you have to turn the bread over after the first side is done to toast the other side. And, it doesn't require any electrical hookups. I used one on a camp stove for years. You can get one at WM (about $3) or any camping supply. I'm definitely going to get one.
